BFT — Tower Crane 📋 Daily
Enter one check item per line. This daily checklist will be shown to operatives instead of the standard checklist whenever they inspect a Tower Crane on hire from BFT .
Standard Tower Crane checklist (for reference)
1. Check mast, jib and counter-jib for structural damage or deformation
2. Check all wire ropes for wear, kinks or broken strands
3. Check hook block and safety latch
4. Check all limit switches — hoist, derricking and slewing
5. Check rated capacity limiter / load indicator is operational
6. Check anti-collision system is operational (if fitted)
7. Check anemometer / wind speed indicator is reading correctly
8. Check all tower bolts and pins are secure
9. Check slewing ring for damage or unusual noise
10. Check operator cab controls are functional and labelled
11. Check radius and load chart is in cab and legible
12. Check emergency stop functions correctly
