📋 Standard weekly checklist
Check all mast flange bolts and climbing frame pins are fully torqued and secure
Check jib and counter-jib chord members and lacings for cracks or deformation
Check slewing ring gear teeth and bearing for wear, pitting or unusual play
Check all wire ropes along full length for broken wires, kinks or corrosion
Check all sheaves and pulleys for wear and correct rope seating
Check hook block, swivel and safety latch for wear and freedom of movement
Check hoist drum and rope anchorage
Check all electrical connections, control panel and cab instruments
Check lubrication of slewing ring, wire ropes and all grease points
Check anchorage and tie-in frames to structure are secure and undamaged
Confirm weekly inspection record is signed and filed

Check all limit switches — hoist, derricking and slewing
Check rated capacity limiter / load indicator is operational

Check all tower bolts and pins are secure
Check slewing ring for damage or unusual noise
Check operator cab controls are functional and labelled
Check radius and load chart is in cab and legible
Check emergency stop functions correctly
